Over here at Babylon Hill, I had just a single Dotted Border outside my Actinic 40W this morning - nothing inside.

Also, Michael Barry has just sent in more photos this time of migrants - these can be seen in our Contributor Photo Albums.  A reminder of many goodies from last year!

4 Febuary 2007 We had another sharp frost and I had only one moth in the trap - an Early Grey.  This does not usually appear here before March.

Well if you thought we were going to have a normal and not like last year at all with all the rareities. Well think again. I have just had a visit from our treasurer Paul Newman who has caught last night on the 1st of February a peppered moth. Pictures below. For all those doubting Thomas's well I include a photo with a Pale Brindled Beauty which will act better than a date tag.

1931 Peppered Moth 2

Looks like we are going to have another fun year. Good trapping Chums.
