Doug Miller Westonzoyland. Humming Bird Hawk Moths have visited my garden six times from 15th June useing Valerian as the food source mainly early morning from 0630 and late evening up to 2100 even when conditions would appear to be unsuitable, Valerian is well known to attract other species of moths does this plants necter production peak at night and are we missing records by not getting up early.
