Following a warmer night I finally caught up with some more typical autumn moths yesterday morning. They included my first Barred Sallow and Frosted Orange of the year and good numbers of Lunar Underwing and Black Rustic. I also had about 10 Common Marbled Carpets, each of which appeared to have different markings and were, without doubt, as attractively marked as I have come across before. I also caught a very small Willow Beauty and 2 Light Emeralds which both made welcome returns to my garden.
