Last Thursday I detected old mines of Argyresthia glabratella in Stockhill Forest ST549513. Where the terminal shoot of Norway Spruce has died off one can see a small circular hole on the underside (or side). On the new growth in a few weeks' time leaves of affected shoots wither. There are no other recent records from our area.
