I ran just the Actinic last night and caught 20 moths of 15 species. All singles except for 5 common Quaker and 2 Flame Shoulder. The rest comprised : Diamond-back Moth ; Garden Carpet ; Spruce Carpet ; Common Pug ; Early Tooth-stripe ; Early Thorn ; Lunar Marbled Brown ; Pale Tussock ; Nut-tree Tussock ; Knot Grass ; Angle Shades ; Clouded Drab and Dark Sword-grass. Also in the trap were 2 Philopotamus montanus (caddis fly) and 1 Oedemera femeralis (beetle). I found a caterpillar in the garden a few weeks ago and decided to try and raise it, the first time that I have attempted to do so. This morning a very beautiful Angle Shades emerged to a very proud "father"!
