A couple of interesting days at Sand Point this week. Yesterday I had 2 Small Yellow Underwings a first for me at this site, also at least 4 Pyrausta cingulata flying around with the P.purpuralis. Today several Alabonia geoffrella on the wing but the highlight for me was seeing Cauchas fibulella (Adela fibulella). A couple of Silver Y were also present. The garden moth trap continues to struggle with numbers but has shown signs of picking up the last couple of days.
