Several traps were run last night at Wall Common by myself and Dave Nevitt to target some coastal species. The weather was windier and colder than forecast but nonetheless we caught some interesting species. First was a larva of Mother Shipton prior to setting up. During the night several Gynnidomorpha vectisana came to one light whilst at another about 5 Coleophora salicorniae. 3 Pediasia aridella also came to light but my favourite two moths of the night were singles of Crescent Striped and Monochroa palustrellus. We also caught 2 Enicospilus adustus.
