16/5/20 - What one might call a mixed bag last night. My first ever trapping of a Great Tit was the ?highlight? I'm not sure which of us was the more surprised !! There were 16 live moths, plus 2 identifiable remains (Buff-tip and FFY Pale Tussock), plus a few odd wings, 2 Cockchafers and a few Great Tit turds. The intact moths were 6 Flame Shoulders, another Buff-tip, and singles of Heart & Dart, Poplar Hawkmoth, Clouded-bordered Brindle, Marbled Minor agg., Common Pug, and Silver-ground Carpet, plus FFYs Bright-line Brown-eye, Least Black Arches, and my third micro of the year, (whoopee!) a Light Brown Apple Moth. Not before time.
